My Skin and Eucalyptus Oil – The Perfect Match
My Skin and Eucalyptus Oil – The Perfect MatchTweet Share
When you try products containing eucalyptus extracts, you’ll find yourself saying: My skin and eucalyptus oil are a perfect match! Eucalyptus oil is an essential oil extracted from the leaves of the eucalyptus plant native to the Far East. This plant has long been recognized as having important qualities that can benefit the human body in various ways. For example, it’s used therapeutically to improve respiratory ailments and skin problems also.
Eucalyptus oil is so versatile it’s added to a number of products used to treat skin problems. For example, many burn and blister ointments contain eucalyptus oil. It has a soothing effect on the skin and can reduce skin rashes and irritations. It’s used on insect bites and stings and cold sores also. The scent is very distinctive – sharp yet pleasing.
Since eucalyptus oil soothes irritated skin, it’s added as an ingredient in many beauty and health products. It works like an analgesic in lotions and creams so it can ease many different skin irritations. In the winter, skin can become extremely dry due to the weather. Some of the best skin creams you can use contain eucalyptus which reduces inflammations, eliminates rashes and makes skin less flaky and itchy.
Regular use of health and beauty products containing eucalyptus can prevent your skin from becoming dry in the first place. Dry skin is often the root cause of many skin problems such as chapping, flaking, blemishes and rashes. Skin problems can make you quite miserable unless you find relief. Eucalyptus oil has been used for many centuries as a source of skin rash and burn relief.
